INTENDED USE OF PRODUCT:

ZAP-IT is ideal for use with ANY CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER, and works great with ANY 1/4-INCH MANUAL DRUM RATCHET.

ZAP-IT is designed to help change heads quickly and easily without scratching rims or rounding lugs, thus maintaining drum hardware in superb condition.

EXTRA-CARE USE OF PRODUCT:

Extra care should always be taken when fine-tuning drums, and it is not recommended for high-tension tuning common with parade/marching drums, piccolo snare, etc.

A SPECIAL NOTE:

ZAP-IT is designed to fail before damage can occur.  It is less costly to munch a ZAP-IT as opposed to drum hardware.

Previously abused lugs may be rounded to a degree that will render the ZAP-IT less effective or prone to strip, but this is a common-sense maintenance problem that would never occur if ZAP-IT were employed to begin with ... a very desirable preventative maintenance feature of the ZAP-IT Drum Key.

Used properly, ZAP-IT will save you beaucoups in time and effort.

***PLEASE READ BEFORE USING***

Your ZAP-IT Drum Key will zap lugs longer if you observe the following:

1. When removing heads, be sure your driver is set for counterclockwise rotation.
2. When replacing heads, be sure your driver is set for clockwise rotation.
3. Always use a criss-cross pattern when winding & don't over-do it.

Finally, while ZAP-ITS are intended for use with the cordless screwdriver or manual ratchet,
they will work at warp speed in a variable-speed or other type drill set-up, but be careful.
